Hello educators!

Thank you for your interest in visiting the Idaho Botanical Garden with your group! Please complete this short form to request a guided on-site field trip. These outdoor, interactive, educational experiences at the Garden are designed to supplement school science curricula and align with Idaho Content Standards. We welcome learners of all ages, abilities, and circumstances to visit our living museum!

Planning Your Visit:

• Please complete this form a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your anticipated date to help us prepare for your visit!

• Determine 2 dates that would work well for your group (in case your first choice of date and time is unavailable).

• Guided field trips at the Garden are available 9:30am-3:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from April - October (last field trip start time at 2:00pm).

• On-site programs last 1.5 hours.

• We strive for a 1:15 ratio of IBG facilitator to learners, IBG can accommodate up to 60 learners per reservation time.

  • If your group is larger,a Garden staff member will follow up with you to discuss possible options.

Field Trip Cost:

• The cost of admission is $5 per attendee*, with a minimum group size of 10.

• A $50 non-refundable deposit is needed at the time of reservation confirmation,the remainder is due upon arrival for the field trip (Note: the $50 will be used towards your group's total cost).

After filling out this form, a Garden staff member will contact you to confirm the date and time of your field trip. They will provide more information about the next steps to help you and your learners prepare for the visit.

*Limited scholarships (including possible free admission and/or partial transportation reimbursement) are available for groups in need of financial assistance. To apply for funding, please indicate in this form that you or your students are in need of assistance, and we will reach out to you with more information. Requests for funding will be awarded by the Idaho Botanical Garden based on our commitment to prioritize providing opportunities to under-served populations and learners.
