A summer music series live from the Idaho Botanical Garden on historical Outlaw Field. 

Event Information

Food & Beverage

Food and beverages will be available on site for sale. Additionally, patrons are welcome to bring in coolers and/or picnics with food and sealed non-alcoholic beverages.  

  • No alcohol, knives, glass containers or on-site cooking apparatus/barbeques may be brought inside. 

  • Factory sealed water and/or an empty water bottle that can be refilled at the IBG water station are allowed. 

  • Though factory sealed water bottles are allowed, we strongly encourage patrons to bring reusable bottles with them that can be refilled at our water station.

 

Please pack out whatever you bring into the venue.

Cooler Rules

ONLY soft-sided coolers smaller than 30 quarts and not exceeding 18"L x14"W x 17"D will be allowed in the gates. 

All hard coolers and soft-sided coolers larger than 30 quarts and exceeding 18"L x14"W x 17"D are strictly prohibited. 

Alcohol Purchases

Everyone 21 years of age who plan on having an alcoholic beverage must bring a photo ID to receive a wristband. Wristbands will be distributed at all alcohol stands.

 

  • Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase with cash only. Note - there are two ATMs on site directly inside the main gate.

  • Alcohol service typically ends a half hour before the end of the show. The Idaho Botanical Garden encourages safe, legal and responsible consumption of alcohol.

  • All hard coolers and soft-sided coolers larger than 30 quarts and exceeding 18"L x14"W x 17"D are strictly prohibited. 

Accessibility / ADA

We encourage all guests with accessibility needs to contact the Extra Mile Arena Box Office at (208) 426-1766, and every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the need. As accommodations are limited, we can better serve those who assist us with advance coordination. Once on site, should you require any assistance or have any questions, look for our guest service personnel they are there to help you!

 

A designated area offering a limited number of spaces is held in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) to accommodate guests with accessible needs and their companions. This space is designed to accommodate guests with accessible needs and up to three companions (per guest) and companions’ chairs.

 

Concertgoers with mobility impairment disabilities and up to three companions may enter through the member gate. Please see guest service personnel if you need assistance through the grass terrain or to borrow a wheelchair to get to your area.

 

Parking Staff will direct vehicles displaying an ADA license plate or placard to the ADA parking areas (limited availability). Guests with accessible needs can also be dropped off close to the Outlaw Field entrance near the Idaho Botanical Garden Administration building. Please look for the directional signage to guide you. A golf cart will be available for transport for those needing assistance to and from the Idaho Botanical Garden parking lots and Outlaw Field entrance points.

 

An ADA accessible shuttle is available to and from Downtown Boise (Main Street between 8th and 9th), operating from 1.5 hours prior to show start until immediately after show end.

 

A limited quantity of Assisted Listening Devices will be available for check out. Please see a guest services staff member for assistance.

General Admission Seating

  • This is a General Admission concert in a grassy, park-like setting. No chairs will be provided by the venue. Please review the chair guidelines below for information on chairs that patrons are welcome to bring with them.

  • The Idaho Botanical Garden is not open to the general public on Outlaw Field Concert Days.

Mobile Ticket Tips

  1. Your barcode includes technology to protect it so screenshots will NOT be accepted at entry.

  2. View your tickets before you go so they are loaded into the TM App, a timesaver if cell service is slow on the day of the event.

    

 ** We recommend saving (downloading) tickets to your Apple Wallet to Google Pay digital wallet for best results.

All tickets will be scanned for entry so come prepared with your ticket in hand or pulled up on your phone.

Please do not wait until you get to the ticket scanner before locating/accessing your tickets.

If you have physical tickets or print-at-home tickets, make sure to bring them with you.

If you have mobile tickets, your phone is your ticket.

Use the following steps to access the information on your phone before getting to the garden to

ensure you are prepared to present your tickets at the entry.

  1. Download the Ticketmaster app and sign in.

  2. Tap "My Events" to locate your order and view your tickets.

  3. To get in, you'll simply scan your ticket right from your phone.

Ticketing

Parking

Parking is free, but limited. Parking staff will direct you to available spots. We encourage you to bike, car pool, or take public transportation. Please be respectful of the neighboring homes and refrain from parking on side streets.

Accessible Parking

Parking Staff will direct concertgoers with vehicles displaying an ADA license plate or placard to the ADA parking area (limited availability) by the Main Entrance. Guests with accessible needs can also be dropped off close to the Outlaw Field entrance near the Idaho Botanical Garden.

Security

The Idaho Botanical Garden is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees and volunteers. To this end, there will be increased security measures such as handheld magnetometers (metal detectors) upon entry. All bags, coolers, chairs, etc. are subject to search.

 

The following items are prohibited: 

  • Animals or pets (except for service dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities)

  • Weapons (or anything that can be deemed a weapon) of any kind

  • Laser pointers

  • Cameras with removable lenses, video cameras and recording devices

  • Fireworks

  • Umbrellas

  • Chairs higher than 8" from the ground

  • All hard coolers and soft-sided coolers larger than 30 quarts and exceeding 18"L x14"W x 17"D 

  • Glass containers

  • Chains and spiked jewelry

 

Travel light and take advantage of the EXPRESS ENTRY LANE reserved for patrons without coolers and bags!

Recycling

The Idaho Botanical Garden continually strives to improve their our commitment to the protection of the environment and enhance the patron experience. There will be trash and recycling bins throughout the venue.

Camera/Photo Policy

Cameras with removable lenses, video cameras and recording devices are prohibited. 

Note - some shows may prohibit photography of any kind. 

No Re-Entry

Once you have entered through the gate, you may not exit and re-enter.

Weather

All concerts are held rain or shine so please be prepared for inclement weather. Dress accordingly, as the temperature may drop noticeably after sunset. No umbrellas please.

Chair & Blanket Rules

Concerts are presented on a grassy, park-like setting. All guests seated in the GA lawn section are welcome to bring either a blanket to sit on or a low-back* chair.(If you cannot sit on a blanket or low-back chair please see the accessibility section for more information)

 

* 8" max from ground to front of seat bottom

* 30" max to top of chair back in highest position

How to get your discount as an IBG Member

  1. Select your tickets on Ticketmaster’s website

  2. Select “Enter Offer Passcode” in the top right hand screen

  3. Enter in your membership ID (found on your membership card) without any dashes or spaces

  4. Proceed to checkout

*Note — If you purchased an Idaho Botanical Garden membership after a concert’s pre-sale, your membership ID will not work online for receiving a discount. Check your welcome email from the Idaho Botanical Garden for instructions on how to receive your membership discount for tickets.

Getting here

Bike, walk, skate, or carpool. We love our planet and we love it when our guests use alternative forms of transportation. The Boise Green Belt makes for an excellent pre-event experience. But if driving is a must, here are some directions! 

*For the safety of pedestrians, we ask all cyclists using the pedestrian lane to dismount from bikes while on Old Penitentiary Road.

Shuttle

Parking is limited. Guests are encouraged to use the free shuttle service from Downtown Boise. Shuttles will pick up guests on Main Street between 8th and 9th in the bus zone starting at 6:30pm until 8:30pm. The first shuttle will return to pick up guests after the show and will be staged at the Accessibility drop off/pick up area at 9:30pm (outside the main gate). After that time, the shuttle will pick up from the main pick up/drop off lot adjacent to Warm Springs Ave.
