Impact of Donations

The Idaho Botanical Garden is an independent nonprofit community gathering space dedicated to connecting people of all ages, abilities, and circumstances to the natural world through environmental education, sustainable horticulture, and cultural events.

IBG’s 15 acres of cultivated specialty gardens welcome over 131,000 guests each year and is supported by 5,000 members. Our vision is to be a special place in Idaho where people from all walks of life can feel a sense of belonging and closeness to nature. This includes the 11,000 children who experience immersive outdoor education highlighting the ecology of the Intermountain West and the countless music fans who have laughed, eaten, and danced the night away at live concerts and cultural family events.

The Garden’s offerings empower guests to become knowledgeable stewards of the environment and provide needed green space in a rapidly growing community, ensuring the community experiences the benefits of connecting with nature and each other.

Donors are welcome to suggest a preferred location for the bench, although final bench style and location is chosen by the Garden Design Review Committee. The Garden reserves the right to move or relocate benches in the future if the gardens are renovated or redesigned.
