Getting to the Garden

Bike, walk, skate, or carpool if you can. We love our planet, and we love it when our guests use alternative forms of transportation. The Boise Green Belt makes for an excellent pre-event experience, but if driving is necessary, here are some directions!

*For the safety of pedestrians, we ask all cyclists using the pedestrian lane to dismount from bikes while on Old Penitentiary Road.

WARM SPRINGS CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC NOTICE: From August 26 - September 20, Warm Springs Ave will be closed for a Mainline Replacement Project managed by Knife River Construction (you may call 208-362-6152 with any questions and concerns). We kindly ask that event traffic for Outlaw Field reroute the "back way" through Parkcenter. Thank you for your patience!

Parking is limited. Guests are encouraged to use the free shuttle service from Downtown Boise. Shuttles will pick up guests on Main Street between 8th and 9th in the bus zone30 minutes before doors are set to open and will do 3 loops/on an as-needed basis. The first shuttle will return to pick up guests after the show and will be staged at the Accessibility drop-off/pick-up area. (outside the main gate). After that time, the shuttle will pick up from the main pick-up/drop-off lot adjacent to Warm Springs Ave.

Ticketing

All tickets will be scanned for entry, so come prepared with your ticket in hand or pulled up on your phone. Please locate/access your tickets before you reach the ticket scanner.

If you have physical tickets or print-at-home tickets, make sure to bring them with you. If you have mobile tickets, your phone is your ticket.

To ensure you are prepared to present your tickets at the entry, use the following steps to access the information on your phone before getting to the garden.

Download the Ticketmaster app and sign in.
Tap "My Events" to locate your order and view your tickets.
You'll simply scan your ticket right from your phone to get in.

Mobile Ticket Tips

Your barcode includes technology to protect it, so screenshots will NOT be accepted at entry.
View your tickets before you go so they are loaded into the TM App, a timesaver if cell service is slow on the event day.
** For best results, we recommend saving (downloading) tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay digital wallet.

Chair & Blanket Rules

Concerts are presented in a grassy, park-like setting. All guests seated in the GA lawn section can bring a blanket or a low-back* chair. (If you cannot sit on a blanket or low-back chair, please see the accessibility section for more information)

Chair size limits:
* 8" max from ground to the front of the seat bottom
* 30" max to top of the chair back in the highest position

Food & Beverage

Food and beverages will be available on-site for sale. Additionally, patrons can bring coolers and/or picnics with food and sealed non-alcoholic beverages.
No alcohol, knives, glass containers, or on-site cooking apparatus/barbeques may be brought inside.
Factory-sealed water and/or an empty water bottle that can be refilled at the IBG water station are allowed.
Though factory-sealed water bottles are allowed, we strongly encourage patrons to bring reusable bottles that can be refilled at our water station.

Cooler Rules

Only soft-sided coolers smaller than 30 quarts and not exceeding 18"L x 14" W x 17"D will be allowed in the gates.

Hard and soft-sided coolers larger than 30 quarts and exceeding 18"L x14" W x 17"D are strictly prohibited.

Alcohol Purchases

Everyone 21 years of age who plans on having an alcoholic beverage must bring a photo ID to receive a wristband. Wristbands will be distributed at all alcohol stands.
Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase with cash or card.
Alcohol service typically ends half an hour before the show's end. The Idaho Botanical Garden encourages safe, legal, and responsible alcohol consumption.

Accessibility / ADA

We encourage all guests with accessibility needs to contact the Extra Mile Arena Box Office at (208) 426-1766, and every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the need. As accommodations are limited, we can better serve those who assist us with advance coordination. Once on-site, should you require any assistance or questions, look for our guest service personnel, who will help you!

A designated area offering a limited number of spaces is held in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to accommodate guests with accessibility needs, their companions (up to three), and companions’ chairs.

Concertgoers with mobility impairments and up to three companions may enter through the member gate. Please see guest service personnel if you need assistance through the grassy terrain or need to borrow a wheelchair to reach your area.

Parking Staff will direct vehicles displaying an ADA license plate or placard to the ADA parking areas (limited availability). Guests with accessible needs can also be dropped off close to the Outlaw Field entrance near the Idaho Botanical Garden Administration building. Please look for the directional signage to guide you. A golf cart will be available to transport those needing assistance to and from the Idaho Botanical Garden parking lots and Outlaw Field entrance points.

An ADA-accessible shuttle is available to and from Downtown Boise (Main Street between 8th and 9th), operating 1.5 hours before the show starts and immediately after the show ends.

A limited quantity of Assisted Listening Devices will be available for checkout. For assistance, please see a guest services staff member.

General Admission Seating

This is a General Admission concert in a grassy, park-like setting. No chairs will be provided by the venue. Please review the chair guidelines for information on chairs patrons are welcome to bring.
The Idaho Botanical Garden is not open to the general public on Outlaw Field Concert Days.

Parking

Parking is free but limited. Parking staff will direct you to available spots. We encourage you to bike, carpool, or take public transportation. Please respect the neighboring homes and refrain from parking on side streets.

Accessible Parking

Parking Staff will direct concertgoers with vehicles displaying an ADA license plate or placard to the ADA parking area (limited availability) by the Main Entrance. Guests with accessible needs can also be dropped off close to the Outlaw Field entrance near the Idaho Botanical Garden.

Security

The Idaho Botanical Garden is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees, and volunteers. To this end, there will be increased security measures such as handheld magnetometers (metal detectors) upon entry. All bags, coolers, chairs, etc., are subject to search.

The following items are prohibited:
Animals or pets (except for service dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities)
Weapons (or anything that can be deemed a weapon) of any kind
Laser pointers
Cameras with removable lenses, video cameras, and recording devices
Fireworks
Umbrellas
Chairs higher than 8" from the ground
All hard coolers and soft-sided coolers larger than 30 quarts and exceeding 18"L x14"W x 17"D
Glass containers
Chains and spiked jewelry
Travel light and take advantage of the EXPRESS ENTRY LANE, reserved for patrons without coolers and bags!

Recycling

The Idaho Botanical Garden strives to maintain its commitment to protecting the environment. There will be trash and recycling bins throughout the venue.

Camera/Photo Policy

Cameras with removable lenses, video cameras, and recording devices are prohibited.

Note - some shows may prohibit photography of any kind.

No Re-Entry

You may not exit and re-enter once you have entered through the gate.

Weather

All concerts are held rain or shine, so please be prepared for inclement weather. Dress accordingly, as the temperature may drop noticeably after sunset. Please do not bring umbrellas.
