Family Fun, Tiny Encounters, and Giant Fun

• Get Up Close & Personal with Insects
  Peer through microscopes, meet live creatures, and encounter marvels like observation bee hives, carnivorous plants, and Bitsy the giant praying mantis (she’s huge!).
• Explore Through Play & Creativity
  Families can unleash their imaginations at creative stations like build‑a‑bug challenges, macroscopic art projects, insect‑inspired printmaking, dragonfly building games, and face painting.

  Dive into discovery with “Ask an Entomologist,” Insect Camouflage & Mimicry demos, citizen‑science activities, and macroinvertebrate investigations that reveal the hidden stories beneath our feet.
• Eat, Play, & Recharge
  Savor local flavor from food trucks, take a spin down the 30‑foot treehouse slide, and enjoy games in Outlaw Field. Grown‑ups can relax with a refreshing drink (or signature cocktail) at the IBG Bar on the Plaza from noon to 4 PM.
