Chris Thomas is a longtime member of the Treasure Valley Orchid Society (TVOS) with nearly 20 years of experience growing orchids. She is a writer and editor who developed a passion for orchids when she received a single plant as a housewarming gift - her collection has grown to nearly 100!

She's convinced that anyone can grow and enjoy orchids with some basic knowledge and a little patience. TVOS members will be on hand to help participants learn the basics of orchid care.
