Boise, ID – September 10, 2024 – The Idaho Botanical Garden is delighted to announce its highly anticipated 2024 Harvest Days, a celebration of fall’s bounty set to take place Saturdays from October 5th to October 26th, 2024. This family-friendly event promises to offer a vibrant array of activities, entertainment, and offers a new rotation of exciting themes, vendors, performers, and local artisans each week.
Event Highlights:
1. Scarecrow Stroll - Discover community-built scarecrows exhibited along the backdrop of delightful garden spaces. Voting will be open for the top creations, where the winner will receive one free Garden Enthusiast level membership to the Garden.
2. Fall Plant Sale - Hannah the Horticulturist and the Idaho Botanical Garden invite you to peruse thoughtfully curated, Garden-grown autumn plants to purchase on October 5th, from 10 am to 3 pm. Plant supplies are limited, so don’t delay!
3. Hispanic Heritage Day - Enjoy a celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture on October 12th. The day will be full of unique artisans, performers, and vendors directed in partnership with the Idaho Hispanic Foundation.
4. Square Dance - Slide on your dancing shoes for a toe-tapping square dance event with live music from Backwood Ramblers, happening on October 19th.
5. Costume Parade - Join us on the final day of Harvest, October 26th, and strut down the plaza in your cutest, spookiest, and most creative costumes during our annual Costume Parade! We invite guests young and old to participate in the parade.
