This introductory fly-tying workshop is meant for the absolute beginner wanting to learn the creative process! All gear and material will be provided and Instructor Erik Moncada has been teaching fly tying for over ten years.

 

He is a current fly-fishing guide at the local fly-fishing shop, Idaho Angler, and uses a variety of techniques to help any beginner find joy in fly-tying. Through this hands-on experience you will learn the basics of fly tying and understand the proportions of a fly. After completing the class, you will have gained an appreciation of the art form and be able to determine if it’s something you wish to pursue further!
