Non-members: $10.00; Members: $8.00; Children (ages 4-12): $6.00
Admissions may be purchased at the gate.
Concerts are outdoors and considered Rain or Shine. Please dress for the weather

“It’s cooler in the Garden! Picnicking in the Garden on a long summer evening with live music is a great Idaho tradition. Experience the best of Idaho with local music, food, beer and wine every Thursday evening, June through September. Bring your own low back chairs or blankets and your own picnic basket or enjoy selections from our vendor, Willowcreek Grill and Raw Sushi.

Don’t have time to pack a picnic for Great Garden Escape? Willowcreek Grill has great menu items at low cost (nothing over $7.00) and all bar drinks including hand crafted beers and wine are only $3.00 all summer long!

June 3 - Muzzie & Billy Braun - Jazz to classic country - Idaho style
June 10 - Fabulous Chancellors - 50’s & 60’s rock n’ roll

June 17 - Steve Eaton and Phil Garonzik - blues, jazz and rock ‘n roll
For years Steve Eaton has supported the Garden and performed at many of our events. A native to Idaho and currently living in the Boise foothills, Steve has performed across the country encouraging an interactive and innovative music experience with the fantastic sounds of blues, jazz and rock 'n roll and writing music for big names like Art Garfunkel, The Carpenters and Lee Greenwood. He returns again with distinguished saxophonist and flute player Phil Garonzik making the evening an undoubtedly enjoyable experience for all.

June 24 - Bill Coffey - original roots rock & retro country
Enjoy the high-energy sound and hearfelt vocals of singer, songwriter and guitarist, Bill Coffey, as he performs original roots rock & retro country. Don't miss this great performer who has been compared to Bruce Springsteen and John Prine!

July 1 - Hoochie Coochie Men - 40s to the 80s standards
Formed in the summer of 1993, Ken Harris, Barney Southard, Mike Trail, Phil Garonzik and Bud Gudmundson began the band at Idaho's first Blues nightclub, the Blues Bouquet, and have performed at various venues ever since. Along with playing standards from the 1940s to the 1980s, The Hoochie Coochie Men also write their own songs. Be sure to mark your calendar for this July 1st performance!

July 8 - Come Together - Beatles/classic rock band - emphasis on fun, positive, upbeat music:
The band was formed in 2008 and all members have been in several acts in Boise over the last 15 + years. When asked why the band chose the classic rock and Beatles' genre, they replied, "We all grew up in the 60's and everyone of us remembers the first time we saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Needless to say, my mom's tennis racket became a guitar the next day. We've all been hooked ever since..."

July 15 - Signature Sound - jazz, rock, country standards
Your perennial favorites, “Signature Sound” enjoy their SIXTH year in a row performing at the Botanical Gardens Great Garden Escape Concert Series on Thursday, July 15. From Sinatra to Van Halen, enjoy an evening of your favorite tunes from the 50’s through the 80’s. Signature Sound features the talented and versatile vocal stylings of Las Vegas performer Noah Temple on lead vocals, Ted Mason on guitar, Chuck Faylor on drums, Dave Ries on bass and Brian Bittick on keyboards. Join Signature Sound for a memorable evening as they perform the music of the generations surrounded by the beauty of the gardens.

July 29 - Paul Peterson Blues Club - blues

August 5 - The BoDo Brothers - true Mississippi & Chicago blues
This electric blues duo really know how to play! Patrick O'Hara and Nick Berlin represented Idaho at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis in both 2009 & 2010. They were awarded Boise's Favorite Blues Band at Blues, Brews and BBQs in 2009 and are excited to return to the Garden for another great evening of music!

August 12 - Boise Straight Ahead - Big band swing

August 19 - Ben Burdick Trio with Amy Weber - jazz & beyond
Guitarist Ben Burdick has been performing a variety of musical styles including jazz, pop, country, fusion, rock and more for over 25 years. His diversity and masterful techniques have earned him numerous albums, fans and the chance to work with artists throughout Boise. On August 19th, Ben Burdick will perform with Boise jazz and acoustic singer Amy Weber.

August 26 - Blues Brothers Rock n’ Soul Revue - vintage rhythm & blues

September 2 - The Soul Cats - New Orleans funk and soul
Shon Sanders, Pat Pulliam and Greg Belzeski have played at numerous concerts and festivals throughout the Northwest for the last 5 years and we are pleased to have them back for their third year performing at the Garden!

September 9 - Freudian Slip - eclectic blues
Playing a unique blend of all musical styles, Dale Cusumano, Bob Crist, Pat Reid and John Bistline have been together for 3 years. With a goal to perform a style not heard much around the Boise area, Freudian Slip is sure to entertain.

September 16 - Rebecca Scott Band - acoustic folk rock
September 23 - Suns of the Beach - California beach party
September 30 - Blaze & Kelly - acoustic folk rock trio

Season Discount passes are available to Garden members only! Season Pass for 17 Concert Admissions for $100.
Season Pass for 10 Concert Admissions for $64.
Attend each concert or bring a group of friends to a few!
(The Great Garden Escape season pass does not include admission to the IBG benefit concert on July 22, or Outlaw Field Concert admissions)

Please bring low back chairs (no more than 6" off the ground.) If you require a higher chair, you will be asked to sit in the back or on the outer edges. We want to provide the best concert experience possible for our guests and members.

One special Thursday evening this summer, the Garden will host a unique concert as part of the Outlaw Field Summer Concert Series. Replacing our annual summer fundraiser, guests and members will enjoy this family-friendly event filled with great music, good food and lasting memories. Onomatopoeia will wow you with their high-energy jazz as you enjoy a picnic on the grassy field with friends and family. Join us for an evening with the community and help support the Garden. Don’t miss this blend of our traditional Thursday night concerts and the high-impact performances of Outlaw Field’s big stage.

Admission:
General: $25/non members, $20/members
Senior (65 +)/Student: $15/non member, $10/member

Proceeds to benefit expanding gardens, including the Children’s Adventure Garden and the Water Conservation Landscape.
