One of the Garden’s missions is to work towards restoration of foothills areas on the lands we lease that lie outside of our formalized gardens. This consists of noxious weed control, seed collecting and propagating in selected restoration areas, bitterbrush planting, and other similar activities. High school students, CWI Horticulture Interns, Master Naturalists, and other volunteers have assisted with these on-going efforts.
