The Idaho Botanical Garden Master Plan provides a visionary framework for the future development of the Garden.  Long-term plans for the grounds include:



Education Center

The planned Education Center will be a multipurpose facility for educational, social and business functions.  The facility will include a lobby/gallery, office space, multipurpose room, storage room, catering kitchen and restrooms.  Possible expansion may include other uses such as a gift shop, coffee shop, additional office space or a library.

Children's Garden

The Children’s Garden will be an inviting area for families to spend time together exploring and discovering. All ages will use their senses to investigate the world of plants through looking, smelling, digging, touching and moving. Features may include a shallow water feature where children can launch leaf boats, vine covered huts, a buried treasure sand box, a sensory garden growing a rainbow of flowers along with scented and furry herbs, and a vegetable garden where youngsters learn that vegetable don’t just come from the supermarket.
