A group of 22 Bishop Kelly High School juniors volunteered in the garden on Friday March 5.The energetic students, under direction of American Literature teacher Lindy Freeman helped the horticulture staff clean up garden beds around the administration building, plant bitterbrush in the foothills and Lewis & Clark Native Plant Garden, and plant more than 500 bulbs in the Children’s Adventure Garden. These bulbs were a recent generous donation from the Owyhee Garden Club. IBG wishes to thank all the students and their teacher for a job well done on a most beautiful spring day.
