Garden enthusiasts look forward to this event each spring.
The Idaho Botanical Garden Plant Sale offers water-wise and unique plants for your private garden. Look for the Plant Sale Catalog to plan your purchases (and your yard) in advance.
Garden Members have exclusive entrance on Friday evening and are encouraged to mingle while enjoying a glass of wine and bit of cheese.
Back by popular demand, all garden lovers, regardless of membership, are invited to shop on Saturday.

This is an exclusive member event for current Garden members only. 'Plus' guests, friends and family of members are welcome to join us for Saturday's Public Spring Plant Sale or may join/renew their membership at the kiosk before entering. If members need help carrying plants, Garden staff and volunteers will be available for assistance.
(Please bring your membership card for faster entry, if you do not have your card, a membership list will be available for look-up.)
The Garden will close for regular Garden admission at 12 p.m. Friday, May 3.

Proceeds benefit IBG horticulture programs and ensures practical experience for the College of Western Idaho’s Horticulture students. Waterwise and unique plants for sale were grown by the horticulture students and IBG staff as part of the curriculum.
Plant Sale Tips
Arrive early for best selection. Plant quantities are limited.
Bring your own wagons and boxes to collect and carry your plants. We provide friendly volunteers to help tally and tote your purchases.
Bring gently used plastic plant trays and pots. We reuse them.
Become a Member today - Friday is an exclusive Members-only event.
Remember your sun hat and suncreen to enjoy what is sure to be a beautiful day in the Garden.

The Garden is dedicated to the advancement and appreciation of gardening, horticulture, and conservation through plant collections and education programs within an aesthetic landscape. Proceeds from the sale benefit IBG horticulture programs and ensure practical experience for the College of Western Idaho’s Horticulture students.
The students need to learn the nursery industry, from seed propagation to retailing grown plants. The Garden provides an outdoor classroom for the students and works closely with them to prepare and present the annual plant sale.
CWI horticulture program trains students for careers in the “green industry” to work in retail and wholesale nurseries, greenhouses, floral shops, public and private landscape maintenance organizations, highway departments and other agencies. Graduates often start their own businesses in various horticulture fields.
