Our field trip docents work with the Education Director, guiding and educating school classes in the Garden at regularly scheduled times.

School tours are held in April, May, September and October.  Trainings are held in April and August for new and returning docents to provide the necessary information to lead a tour.  The tour content offered to the students meets the education standards required by the State of Idaho for each grade level.  Sign up to lead tours at times which fit your schedule and for the grade levels you prefer.

Local experts share their horticultural or plant-related knowledge with the public through the Garden's Continuing Education Program.

The Garden offers over 45 classes and workshops over the year on a wide variety of
garden-related topics such as roses, labyrinths, aromatherapy, landscaping, tree pruning and water-wise gardening.  If you have a topic that you wish to share with others please contact Elizabeth Dickey, elizabeth@idahobotanicalgarden.org or 208-343-8649.
